VIDEO SUCCESS STORIES
HSVS clients face unimaginable challenges in the best of times. COVID-19, and the subsequent economic fallout, have introduced a different set of obstacles for families, forcing them to adapt. During our Benefit, you’ll hear from incredible New Yorkers:
- Our Food for Families program filled the void when undocumented parents lost their service jobs, contracted COVID-19, and had no other way to feed their family.
- A therapist and her transgender client with a history of substance abuse figured out how to continue on their path to success.
- American Dream Scholars worked to complete their high school and college degrees remotely while dealing with both housing instability and the loss of employment.
